Nafuna Margaret

Margaret was abandoned by her father and later orphaned again following the death of the uncle that cared for her and so she was taken in as a housemaid where she received no food, clothes, or access to education. She was able to find access to these necessities when she was found by C.R.O.

While completing her secondary education Margaret was awarded 3 principals passes and was the student body representative for her women’s dorm.

We are excited to help another female student accomplish their dreams! Margaret began in 2012 to complete her degree in Business Administration at Uganda Christian University in Mbale. She believes that this opportunity will offer her the stable life that she did not have as a child. When board members visited in August, Margaret gave a tour of the business campus and showed us her grades which were posted on the wall near the doors to campus.
