Being raised by both parents who were educators has taught me to strive for education and want to educate those less fortunate than me. I have been an adjunct professor and will be resuming that role in the fall. Being a professor has allowed me to know the value of education and how it allows those individuals to succeed in life. I am a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi whereby through our "Guide Right Program" we mentor and educate young men in the Chicago Heights community. We also provide 6-10 scholarships yearly to graduating seniors. All of what I currently do puts me in line with the work of CROSO, and I support their efforts.
